Weddings at The Retreat

Set amidst the Kentucky hills, Agape Wilderness Retreat is the perfect location to host your special day. The facility is located on an 80-acre pristine ridge top and is an oasis from today’s world.  Both our outdoor amphitheater and our Elijah Center (indoor) will seat up to 200 guests; our meeting cabin can seat over 100 guests; and there are other areas in our 80 acres of wilderness that would be ideal for intimate ceremonies. Our staff is ready to provide support leading up to your wedding and on the day of whether that be decorating ideas and rental suggestions or catering. We can also provide overnight accommodations for up to 58 of your out of town guests or wedding party! See our pricing below.

Venue
$1200
  • 2 hours of rehearsal time on the previous day included in one day rental
  • Decorations and additional time for set up time is not included
  • Take down must be accomplished by noon the day following the wedding to avoid additional charges
  • Charges for additional time will be $100/hour up to $600/day
Catering
$20/person
  • Agape staff must be used for catering for either the rehearsal dinner or reception if held at the venue
  • Alcohol is limited to beer and wine and must be served only by an approved, licensed and insured bar tender arranged by Agape’ Christian Ministries, Inc.
Overnight Lodging
$35/night
  • Up to 58 overnight guests may stay in our lodge and cabins
  • Additional meals are available for overnight guests for $10.00 per person per meal

Other rentals not included: Tent, tables, chairs, table clothes, florists, decorations, musicians, Pastor/officiant.

Our facilities are great for hosting your wedding, but you may want to incorporate off-campus activities during the festivities or recommend activities for guests making the trip! There are two state parks (KY and IN) within 25 minutes, as well as the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, each a little over an hour away.
